Why did Diana’s Banana’s announce a voluntary product recall?
The decision to initiate a voluntary product recall was taken after it was discovered that certain 10.5-ounce packages of Diana’s Milk Chocolate Banana Babies may contain undeclared peanuts and were distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of peanut butter, a known food allergen.

Which Diana’s Bananas products are affected by this announcement?
Only Diana’s Milk Chocolate Banana Babies with a best if used by date of 08/05/23 are impacted by this voluntary recall.

What should I do if I have this product in my freezer?
If you have Diana’s Milk Chocolate Banana Babies with a best if used by date of 08/05/23, please return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.

How did this happen?
We are conducting a full investigation of this incident but out of an abundance of caution and because the safety of our consumers is always our top priority, we voluntarily initiated a product recall to avoid any risks to consumer safety. We will take all appropriate steps to ensure this type of incident does not recur.

Are other Diana’s Bananas products affected under this recall?
No other flavors are impacted by this recall, including Dark Chocolate, Peanut Butter Cup, Salted Caramel or our Banana Bites (in a yellow tub). In addition, no other Diana’s Milk Chocolate Banana Babies with different best if used by dates are impacted.

I ate a Milk Chocolate banana, will I get sick?
If you do not have a nut allergy you have nothing to worry about. There have been no illnesses reported to date in connection with this product.

I have a slight allergy to peanuts and have this product in my freezer, do I need to throw it out?
Only Diana’s Milk Chocolate Banana Babies with a best if used by date of 08/05/23 are impacted by this recall. If you have product with this best if used by date, we advise you to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund or dispose of it out of an abundance of caution.

I threw out my product when I saw the recall, can I get a refund?
If you email customer-service@dianasbananas.com and share a picture of the package with the best if used by date of 08/05/23 and identify where you purchased it, Diana’s will replace the product at no charge
