An A-Peeling Environment
We work with small farmers in the jungle to grow, peel and process our delicious bananas. By peeling the bananas right there, not only do you get the most fresh, ripe and perfect banana flash frozen to lock in taste and nutrition, but the jungle gets food and fertilizer too. That’s because we recycle the banana peels right there, in the environment in which they grew, and they are welcomed back with open arms.
The result: Rather than producing waste, we are producing a sustainable product that gives back what it takes.

But the rich, thick, perfectly decadent chocolate that covers our frozen bananas is more than just the best to eat—it’s the best partner in the cocoa community. Our chocolate comes from a family owned company that has long been a pioneer in advancing sustainable cocoa farming. They focus on improving farmer livelihood with tools and training; practice responsible, sound environmental stewardship in cocoa-farming communities; and improve economic returns for cocoa farmers while strengthening the farmer associations.
